Job Description

Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic photographer to join our team of photographers to work within our e-commerce studio at We Love Couture, Bucharest bringing the repertoire of products on welovecouture.com, to life through high quality digital photography. You will use beautiful lighting and a strong eye for detail, thereby constantly improving the shopping experience at WE LOVE COUTURE

Responsibilities

- Working in the studio team alongside the stylist & the other photographers taking digital images of products;
- Ensuring that all products are lit correctly, efficiently and creatively, in accordance with WE LOVE COUTURE guidelines;
- Producing high quality and consistently beautiful images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and color consistent;
- Perform quality assurance on all images;
- Ability to work well within a team working well under pressure with a flexible attitude;
- Prepare sets, checking that all equipment is functioning and setting up appropriate lighting to match our WE LOVE COUTURE lighting guides;
- Name and maintain digital asset files while accurately checking off daily shoot lists;
- Cropping and processing of all images, maintaining file size specification guidelines;
- Mark up images in PhotoShop with clear and informative notes for the retouch team when it is the case;
- Ensuring all images are ready in advance of daily uploads;

- Meeting daily and weekly deadlines to prepare for new website material;
- Responsible for care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props and supplies;
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Requirements

- Degree in photography and/or previous experience in a studio environment;
- A strong photography portfolio that demonstrates sufficient knowledge and techniques of digital photography and lighting along with high technical proficiency in PhotoShop, Adobe Lightroom, Canon camera’s and Windows computers;
- Ability to work well within a team;
- Ability to work well to deadlines and under pressure;
- Proactive and able to take initiative;
- Detail oriented and creative;
- English - medium or advance level, written & spoken.
